Qood·NewsAlpha

About

A daily celebration of human achievement.

Alpha – we're just getting started

Qood News reads thousands of feeds every thirty minutes and surfaces the launches, breakthroughs, openings and milestones that are quietly making the world better. It does not aggregate culture-war takes. It does not chase outrage. It is a quiet, daily reminder that good things keep happening, often completely unnoticed.

Every story is a link to its original publisher. We do not host articles, rewrite their bodies, or summarise them. We classify and group, then send you on to the place that did the reporting. The aim is to bring readers to the sources, not hold them captive on a feed.

Each story is reviewed by an AI model before it reaches the feed. We look at tone and approachability: is this story doom and gloom, or does it reflect something people are genuinely building, creating or achieving? We are not looking for stories that are simply “nice”. We are looking for the ones that remind you humanity keeps moving forward, every single day.

What's coming.

This is an Alpha. The feed and filtering you see today are just the beginning. We have a lot in the pipeline.

  • Personalisation. Tell us what you care about and the feed adapts: industries, topics, locations, all of it.
  • Comments. A space to share what a story means to you. Thoughtful, not combative.
  • Community publishing. Your own channel to post and share the good things you see happening around you.
  • Better source suggestions. A simple, open way to suggest feeds and publishers we should be covering.
  • Localisation. We are building a much deeper local engine so you can find out what is genuinely happening in your city or area, not just the national and global picture.
  • More ways to discover. Better search, topic pages and industry feeds so nothing worth celebrating slips through the cracks.

Why we exist.

Great things are happening on this planet every single day, and they deserve to be celebrated. We want Qood News to be a place people choose to visit because it makes them feel good about the world. Not because it has alarmed them into clicking. The news industry has spent decades optimising for anxiety. We are doing something different.

Who we are.

We are also the team behind Kanbanq.app, a simple project management tool. Every task, sprint and milestone for Qood News was planned and tracked inside Kanbanq from day one. Our philosophy is the same across everything we make: build tools that are genuinely useful, keep them simple, and point them at problems that matter to people.

Say hello.

We are a small team building something we genuinely believe in. If you like what we are doing, if you have ideas, if you want to collaborate, or if you just want to say hi. We would love to hear from you. Drop us a message at hello@qood.news.

A note for publishers.

If your stories are appearing here and you'd rather they weren't, the removal page will take you off the crawl list within twenty-four hours. We always link back to your original article and we never reproduce the body copy.
