Suggest a source
Know somewhere we should be reading?
We are always looking to expand the range of voices on Qood News. If you know a publication, newsletter, specialist blog or industry feed that consistently covers launches, milestones and breakthroughs, we would love to hear about it.
We read hundreds of sources already, but there are always niches and communities we have missed. A tip from a reader has often been the fastest route to discovering them.
What we look for.
- A public RSS or Atom feed. We pull content via feeds, so the source needs to publish one. Most blogs and publications do.
- A meaningful proportion of positive stories. The source does not need to be exclusively positive — many of our best sources mix general news with achievement coverage. We just need a reasonable signal-to-noise ratio so the crawler is not rejecting the majority of what it pulls.
- Original reporting or curation. We prefer primary sources over aggregators that already aggregate. If a feed mostly reprints content from elsewhere, we will usually pass.
- Any language, any country. We crawl sources in English right now, but we are actively building towards multilingual coverage. Non-English sources are still very welcome.
How to suggest one.
Send us the name and RSS feed URL, along with a brief note on what makes it worth including. We review every suggestion and add qualifying sources to the next crawler run, usually within a few days.
